The Garden’s Edge in conjunction with the South Central PA Chapter of the North American Water Garden Society held the 4th Annual Parade of Ponds on August 4th & 5th, 2007.  The annual self-guided tour included over 30 of the most beautiful water features in and around York County.  The recipient of 100% of ticket proceeds from the parade of ponds was Olivia’s House - a local organization committed to the care and support of grieving children.  Founded in 2002, Olivia’s House offers no cost services for children and young adults who have lost a loved one through death.  Olivia’s House, located at 830 South George Street in York, depends on the local community for support to achieve its mission of healing through grief and loss education.

The community got to take a peak into backyard paradises all over the county and a local charity was given an early holiday present.  Everybody wins!  Pictured here are Mark Willoughby, President of The Garden’s Edge, Rebecca Willoughby, Coordinator for the South Central Pennsylvania Chapter of NAWGS, Leslie Delp, Founder and Executive Director of Olivia’s House and Barbara Nesbit, Board President of Olivia’s House.
