Announcing the Third Annual NAWGS of South Central Pennsylvania’s Parade of Ponds Benefiting Olivia’s House

York, PA - Saturday, June 24th, and Sunday, June 25th - The North American Water Garden Society (NAWGS) of South Central PA is holding its third annual Parade of Ponds with all proceeds benefiting Olivia’s House, a non-profit community resource center where grieving young people and their families can find support, validation, education and acceptance.

About our event: This self-guided tour includes nearly 30 water features. The price of admission includes a guidebook valid for single admission with a handy map and concise descriptions, locations and directions for every water garden on the tour. Each booklet serves as a weekend-long pass that allows ticket holders to explore at their leisure on both days of the event. Gardens will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24th, and from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25th.

Tickets are now available on-line at www.paradeofponds.info, in person at The Pond Shop, Dallastown, PA, or over the phone by calling The Pond Shop at 717-246-4710 and The Garden’s Edge at 717-747-9266. Pond Tour tickets are $10 per person.

NAWGS is a national, non-profit, organization dedicated to the enjoyment, education, and protection of the water garden hobby. This year the South Central Pennsylvania NAWGS Chapter is proud to announce that we have partnered with OLIVIA’S HOUSE – an organization committed to supporting grieving children, to receive the proceeds from our annual Parade of Ponds. Founded in September 2003 by Leslie Delp, MA, Olivia’s House depends on the local community for support to achieve its mission of healing through grief and loss education. This unique partnership comes from the knowledge that the water garden hobby brings peace and enjoyment to the lives it touches, and that, in part, is the mission of Olivia’s House - to restore peace and enjoyment of life.

About Us: Founded in 1989, The Garden’s Edge is a small family owned Design/Build Water Feature and Hardscape Contractor specializing in backyard retreats. Based in York, PA, we serve the South Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland region, from Gettysburg to the Philadelphia suburbs and Harrisburg to Hunt Valley.
